Help Those Hit by Recent Hurricanes

Hurricanes Michael and Florence wreaked havoc on the South and Southeast from the Florida panhandle through Georgia and the Carolinas and here into Virginia, and we know there is the possibility of more storms to follow. When disaster first strikes, immediate aid is needed to help communities get back on their feet. Afterwards, rebuilding and strengthening resilience can take years. But, just as with Hurricanes Katrina and Harvey, Jewish Federations are there —helping make sure that the urgent needs of the most severely impacted are met. Help these hurricane victims today.

TJF's B'nai Tzedek Teen Philanthropy Program

The Tidewater Jewish Foundation is excited to debut an exciting new program just for teens! The B'nai Tzedek Teen Philanthropy Program encourages teens to become involved in tzedakah by establishing a fund for Jewish charitable giving. Opening B'nai Tzedek fund gives your teen a chance to play a part in improving your community and the world. In essence, we are empowering Tidewater's teens to take ownership of their own philanthropy—a valuable lesson that we know pays off!
